Research. Research. Research.

I want to bang my drum a little. And yes, you guessed it, I want to talk about research!

Research is vital to the success of any business. It should be the 'go to' resource for businesses to inform and shape what they do and how they do it.

Research has many benefits, including (not an exhaustive list):

  1. It expands your knowledge

  2. It informs and guides you

  3. It helps you keep on top of latest trends

  4. It helps you understand the wider economic, commercial and market drivers

  5. It helps you know what you're up against

  6. It gives you insights into performance and pointers of 'what's coming'

These are just some of the reasons that I conduct unique research via the LFMC - our annual What Clients Want and Professional Services Marketing Survey.

Because research is so important to me, I also pull together a summary of other research that is 'out there' for members of the LFMC. This week they were sent a document with a summary of, and links to, 15 separate pieces of research, each of which is relevant and will help them.

The research and data covers 3 key areas - the legal sector, the wider market and economy, and client and consumer trends and needs.

Starting next week I will be writing a weekly email on a Monday morning sharing some research based insights, data and snippets to help you focus on the things that matter. I'll also share some of my thoughts on what the research means to you and what actions you may wish to take. If you would like to subscribe - just complete the subscribe form at the bottom of this page.

The weekly articles won't be the full research document I share with members (that's a member benefit!) but it will give you pointers to valuable resources and activities that your firm could take to benefit you.

Of course, if you'd like to benefit from getting the full monty of research and insights - join the LFMC. It's just £1,200 for the year and the research is just one of the many benefits we give to members.

Get in touch if you would like to know more.
