The Law Firm Marketing Club was set up in 2020 by Clare Fanner from Find Get Grow. Clare identified a need to provide access to high-quality resources, research and insights to help law firms.

Thus the Law Firm Marketing Club was born.

I have 'got the t-shirt' having been a marketing director of two regional law firms and having worked with over 20 professional services firms to date.

I get the secto
r. I get law firms. I understand the internal challenges, politics and practicalities. I work with managing partners and marketers alike ... often helping them enthuse and engage their wider teams.

I work with firms to raise their profile, to make them visible in the right ways, in the right places and with the right messages.
I help law firms improve their legal directories rankings and to win awards.

I work with firms that have no internal marketing expertise or resource and I work with firms with strong marketing teams who need strategic support and an extra capable pair of hands.

Firms I work with are usually either:

  • Small firms with no dedicated marketing resource typically they need a strategy so they can start to benefit from getting more clients, raising their visibility and spending their time and money more effectively;

  • Mid-sized regional law firms with marketing resources but not enough resource or experience to drive forward key strategic projects - from websites and CRM to client listening and legal directory submissions and other key marketing projects e.g. getting partner engagement, putting in place team marketing plans.

  • Law firms of all sizes wanting help with one off projects or interim support to drive their marketing.

I founded and run the Law Firm Marketing Club - the UK's fastest growing legal sector marketing club.
The Club helps law firms of all sizes to do better marketing by educating, informing and supporting them.

I am regularly invited to speak across the UK and have been told I have "an engaging, humorous and sometimes provocative style"; I guess that's because I don't shy away from saying what needs to be said!

I’m a keen, albeit it not very good, golfer and also a fan of red wine, preferably South African.

Having previously worked with the team at Conscious Solutions, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities experienced by marketers in the legal sector.

With a well-rounded background in digital marketing, from curating compelling content to facilitating thought-provoking discussions, it is my aim to create valuable resources and encourage collaboration among LFMC club members. I’d love to hear any ideas or suggestions you have for the LFMC and my inbox is always open.


Outside of work, you’ll find me walking around the Somerset countryside, working on up-cycling projects, or dancing the summer weekends away at music festivals.
